Just back from Akot on Tuesday where there was yet another UN distribution going on at the BTC. It was wonderful to watch people who have been needy for many weeks getting some things to help them through the days ahead. This time a plastic container with a blanket, soap, tarp, and other small but essential items, were given away. Unfortunately it was not done as well as before and there were some security problems encontered. Please pray with us so that we as Baptist will know what we should continue doing in the weeks ahead to help with the developing hunger situation in Akot.

The Lewises are still grinding away at language and culture acquisition in Kapoeta. Continue to pray especially for Carrie - to find another woman that she can have a close relationship with in her area. They have recently returned from Nairobi where they had some church planting training and are now trying to implement some of what they learned.

Continue to pray for our Fusion Team, eleven young men and women, who are spending four months with us from January 15th to May 15. They are now living in villages, working with Bible studies, engaging Muslims in town, and learning Dinka out of necessity. Pray for us to be the mentors that God needs us to be for these young future leaders. They still have their "home base" on our compound but are now in Akot, Abinajok and Rumbek serving the King.
